Summary

SAI Paraguay audited the use of resources from the National School Food Fund (Fondo Nacional de Alimentación Escolar) during the period from October 2024 to March 2025 in 21 educational institutions across the country. The audit revealed violations of the guiding principles of the "Zero Hunger" ("Hambre cero") school feeding program including insufficient equipment for meal preparation and serving, inadequate food supplies, and the absence of a rotating menu that hinders the achievement of the program's goals and reduce the quality of service.
